Return & Refund Policy

At carpartengine.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. While we strive to deliver the right parts every time, we understand that returns may occasionally be necessary. Please review our return and replacement guidelines below.

Standard Returns

  • Return Window: Authorized returns are accepted within **7 calendar days** of delivery (unless otherwise noted at purchase).
  • Condition: Items must be **unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging**.
  • Restocking Fee: A **30% restocking fee** applies to most returns. In some cases, we may reduce this fee and issue store credit instead.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made or special-order parts **cannot be returned** under any circumstances.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping fees are **non-refundable** in both directions unless pre-approved by us.

All return requests must be submitted within **30 days of the invoice date**. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Special Order Items

Some parts are specially ordered for your specific vehicle. These require a **deposit or full payment upfront**. Once confirmed, special orders are:

  • Non-refundable
  • Not eligible for cancellation, return, or resale

Important Notes

  • Products that are **modified, installed, or altered** cannot be returned.
  • We are not responsible for **installation costs or related expenses**. If an item becomes unusable due to modification, a replacement will need to be purchased at the customer’s expense.

Shipping Policy

We provide reliable shipping throughout the continental U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands).

  • Delivery Times: Standard delivery usually takes **7–14 business days**, depending on your location and product availability.
  • Processing: Orders placed **before 12:00 PM PST** for in-stock items are generally shipped within **1 business day**.
  • Delays: While rare, unexpected delays may occur—we appreciate your patience in such cases.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please follow these steps immediately:

  • Keep the product in its **original packaging**.
  • Prepare a **detailed list** of the damaged or missing items.
  • Contact both the **shipping carrier** and our support team within **48 hours** of delivery.

Do not return items without prior written approval from us. Once we have the necessary information, we’ll work with the carrier for pickup and inspection. After reviewing the returned product, we’ll issue a **replacement or store credit** as applicable.
